A Homecoming of Sorts
I have been away from this blog for far too long. I have just come home to my writing again lately, so I thought I would re-launch the blog with this piece I wrote recently. I am going to redirect the blog away from the spiritual/psychic phenomena and towards more of my own writings of all genres. I hope no one minds!
This poem haunted me for days before I finally put it down on paper. It is a poem about the mausoleum at the camp of Maidanek.
Haunted Maidanek
4-15-14
Mountains of ash,
Commingled,
Anonymous,
Piled together
Beneath
The cold, white dome.
Identities stolen,
Disassembled,
Corrupted,
To lie forever
So far
Away from home.
